According toFabrizio Romano, the 22-year-old has now completed his medical with Chelsea, and will sign a contract running until June 2030 with the Blues paying a total sum of€100m(89m).

The Ukrainian is not cup tied as UEFA rules state that three new players can be registered for the knockout stages of their competitions, as long as the paperwork is submitted by February 2nd.
UEFAsofficial websitestates: As of the round of 16, a club may register a maximum of three new eligible players for the remaining matches in the current competition. Such registration must be completed by 2nd February 2023 at the latest. This deadline cannot be extended.
Any or all of the players from the above quota of three may have been fielded for another club in the qualifying phase, play-offs or group stage of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League or UEFA Europa Conference League.
That will be music to the ears of Graham Potter, as Mudryk has been superb in the Champions League this season.
